The Trinity II
In a previous submission, we claimed that any argument that works against polytheism equally applies to the Trinity. In this submission we will provide an example for this by using a less formal version of Burhan Al-Tamanu’ against the Trinity.
Oneness of Creative Action
Proving that God is the only creator, and there is no other creator apart from Him. Everything that emerges into existence, emerges by His Power and in accordance with His Will, and no one else’s.
Oneness of Attributes
Since God is the only necessary being, this means that no other being is attributed with His qualities, and He is not attributed a quality that any other being is attributed with.
Oneness of Being
Proving that a multiplicity of necessary beings cannot exist. As such, the only necessary being is God, and that all other beings exist contingently.
